This advertisement regards McDonald's and their effect on their consumers. It is clear to see that this is perfect form of anti-advertisement showing how much damage McDonald's would provide for their consumers.
It is no coincidence that the first thing shown in this anti-advertisement of McDonald's is a display of an overweight man. The ethos used within the ad emphasizes that if you eat McDonald's you will be overweight similar to the man in the photo provided above. Not only appealing to ethos, but the "I'm Luggin' it" advertisement also appeals to logos and pathos. Logos because if you continuously eat unhealthy foods such as McDonald's you will become overweight and have to be wheeled around, whether it is in a wheelbarrow or a wheelchair. In addition, pathos creates an emotional appeal of sadness and conciseness because people do not want to be the obese person that has to lug themselves.
This ad was intended to mock McDonald's overall as a industry. Catering to fast food eaters, it is obviously seen through an obese man lugging his large body in a wheelbarrow this is what will soon become of people as an example of satire. Also the fact that the man is at a construction site shows mockingly how McDonald bask in their industry being built up from people's unhealthy situation.
In turn, it shows that you can go from "I'm lovin' it" to "I'm luggin' it" from consuming McDonald's.
